Personal Accidental Insurance FAQs

The product covers the following :

• Personal Accident – cover against Death, Permanent Total Disability and Permanent Partial Disability (benefit amount of INR 1 Lac)

• Accidental Hospitalization – Covers all the medical expenses incurred during hospitalization due to accidents (up to INR 10,000)

• Daily Hospital Cash – fixed daily cash benefit of INR 500 in case of hospitalization due to accident for up to 30 days. Covers out of pocket expenses incurred during any hospitalization

Yes, only during the freelook period.

There is a 15 days freelook period from the Risk Inception Date. Customer can cancel the policy anytime within this freelook period without any penalty

Anyone within the age bracket of 18 to 60 years can buy this policy along with the loan offered by Indiabulls.

• b. Health Insurance (Digit Health Plus)- 18 to 45 Years

Yes, cancellation is allowed during the free look period of 15 days. Post that cancellation will not be allowed.

Cancellation Process:

• Customer calls Digit Contact centre to cancel the policy
• Digit Agent collects the policy number / contact number and identifies the type of policy.
• Digit Agent checks for refund and informs the customer about the refund amount and collects bank details for NEFT
• After collecting the details, the policy is cancelled and the refund amount is transferred to Customer

The policy has 3 days grace period from the date instalment before due. In case of non-payment of the instalment even after the expiry of the grace period. Then the policy stands cancelled.

Please call the Digit on the below mentioned toll free number and it is at the discretion of the insurance company to allow revival of the lapsed policy. Subject no coverage during the lapsed period and continuity benefits will not be available.

Reimbursement Process

• Unfortunately customer meets with an accident, contact Go Digit contact center to initiate the claim
• Customer is asked to email all documents required for claims assessment on

Document Upload:
• Documents will be verified for completeness. Customer will be informed in case any additional document is required

• GoDigit will process the claim
• If claim is accepted, Digit will transfer the benefit amount to the customer’s bank amount
